Welcome. Whether you are looking to explore the beautiful, meditative art of Shibari for the first time, or you are an experienced practitioner seeking a unique experience, you are being invited into a safe, intentional space.

My rope sessions are tailored entirely to your comfort, curiosity, and boundaries. Together, we will create a bespoke experience focused on connection, presence, and the unique sensation of being held by rope.

Why Book a Session?

  • Mindfulness & Presence: Experience a deep, meditative state as your mind quiets and your body adapts to the sensation of the rope.
  • Creative Expression: Every tie is a unique, living piece of art co-created by you & I.
  • Emotional Release & Grounding: Rope can provide a profound sense of containment, safety, and physical grounding.
  • Tailored to You: From gentle, floor-based tactile exploration to dynamic, structural suspension ties, the session moves at your pace.

What to Expect

  1. The Intake (15-20 Mins): Every session begins with a cup of tea and an open conversation. We will discuss your goals, aesthetic preferences, physical health/injuries, and strict boundaries.
  2. The Session (90 Mins): We transition to the rope space. Communication remains open the entire time. You are always in control, and we can adjust or stop at any moment.
  3. Aftercare & Integration (15-20 Mins): After the ropes are removed, we take time to ground, hydrate, and process the experience so you leave feeling settled and cared for.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do you work with different bodies?

Absolutely. I have more than 15 years experience tying a very diverse range of folks, and all bodies and genders are welcome at my studio.

What do I need to wear?

Comfort and flexibility are key. Form-fitting athletic wear, yoga clothes, or simple layers work best. Avoid clothing with bulky seams, buttons, underwires, or zippers, as these can pinch under the rope.

Do I need prior experience?

Not at all. Some of my clients are complete beginners. I will guide you through every step, ensuring you feel safe, informed, and comfortable.

Is this a safe environment?

Absolutely. Safety is my highest priority. I use high-quality, treated ropes, practice strict nerve-safety protocols, and always keep safety shears within arm's reach. We will establish clear verbal and non-verbal communication cues before any rope touches your skin, and I will monitor you throughout the session.

What are your boundaries regarding intimacy?

Note: My rope sessions are strictly professional and non-sexual. The focus is entirely on the art form, tactile sensation, and mindfulness of rope. Clear boundaries protect the sacred nature of the space for both of us.

Can I book a session if I have an injury or physical limitation?

In most cases, yes! Shibari is highly adaptable. During our intake, you will share any injuries, joint issues, or chronic pain conditions so I can select ties that completely bypass or accommodate those areas.

How do I book a session?

Click the "Inquire About a Session" button to send me an expression of interest. Once reviewed, I will reach out to schedule a brief call to ensure we are a good fit and lock in your session date.
